Home is where the heart is, or so they say

At least once a week – and for whatever reason, it’s happening more frequently these days – someone will ask me, “Why Georgetown?”
As in, “What is it about that place that keeps you there?”
As if to say that greener pastures exist for me somewhere down the road, on the other side of the fence, where [...]

I adore this video

Weezer has always made interesting videos, from the Happy Days moments in “Buddy Holly” to the fantastic (and Best. Video. Ever.) moments of the Muppets gang taking part in “Keep Fishin.’”

Jonesing for more Indy

I watched movies at two extremes of the emotion scale Sunday, both of them being fantastic, but with each of them leaving me in different mental states.
First, I watched The Savages, and while it gets labeled by many critics as a dark comedy, I’m not sure I’d quickly call it as such. Sure, it has [...]

So long Scrubs, for now

I love Scrubs.
Actually, I loved Scrubs, as the last two seasons have been pretty below average.

Logo update

The Goo Goo Dolls show at Fourth Street Live! proved to be a treasure trove of MLB logos, as I spotted almost half of the league’s 30 teams over the course of a few hours.
I have not, however, seen any new teams since then, although to be fair, it’s not like people at my [...]
